Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico, was born to an affluent family. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros in addition to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the operas and tangos. Also, she loves dramatic performances. Ana started to learn how to sing and play music at an early age by her mother. The formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old and studied with the world-renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choirs as well as chamber ensembles. She was part of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for being able to share her passion and passion of old-fashioned Latin American songs with others while she hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations in order to keep this vibrant music alive.Viva Mexico!
