Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international inroads into the Latin popular music scene. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. In 2017, he dropped ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and him the year after. Mala Influencia was released in 2020 by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album that year. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit track Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo comes from a musical background, both his parents and brother are also musicians. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. As a child, playing the guitar ukulele as well as piano. Although he initially wanted to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban music teacher could change his direction in life.
